Dear Usha & Fellow Ryzers:

Greetings of the Season! It would not be a bad idea to have a initial formal meeting of all the interested / regular ryzers to meet ( may be 3 - 5 years old members?) / brainstorm and arrive at a plan of action to make a BBN Ryze the best network of professionals.

It can be on any weekend probably with a high tea ( 2-3 hours).

Warm regards

Ravi Srinivasan

Hi Usha,

My congratulations on your new role.

When you decided o take over, did you have any plans/vision in mind for BBN? Would you like to share them? That way we would have something to start with and could build on those ideas with others' inputs.

The BBN of yester-years was popular because there used to be lively debates and fair amount of business transactions. What is the new focus going to be? Only business or both business and pleasure?

I am sure people will visit regularly when they find something of value. People can share what they would love to see here.

For me personally, I would like to see a) learn from each other b) help each other with business as well as personal issues c) some light bantering without hurting anyone's feelings (a la Anand and V Kumar - this is an compliment, pls do not howl at me :)), d) An occasional mixer e) may be some ways to give back to the society by this group etc etc.

A smaller group of interested people could join and brainstorm after getting as many inputs as possible thru this thread. I would be happy to participate and contribute.

Thanks and best wishes
Mukesh

No social network that is focussed only on business is really successful or active. So called business queries are boring and meaningless. BBN is popular more for its humour and articles than for business.

It should be a mix of business cum social discussions. BBN can help entrepreneurs come together to share thoughts and learn from each other than seeking business between themselves. I remember a business meet for BBN conduted (by Vinod?) sometime in 2008/2009 which was a great success.

Our social discussions can continue with new vigour.

Why not you have a core committee of four to five people who meet once a quarter to chart out plans?

My two cents, Gopal.
